Upcoming session: 1 September 2026

Blessings to All

Join us in distributing supermarket vouchers and grocery packs to households in need across Singapore. Every delivery is a step toward a more caring and compassionate society.

What you’ll do:

  • Support community outreach and family programmes
  • Help organise events and fundraising activities
  • Mentor and engage young people
  • Respond to humanitarian relief efforts
  • Lend your professional skills where they’re needed

Volunteer

Focuses on active recruitment of new volunteers. Intakes are conducted twice a year. Recruitment efforts are typically carried out through campaigns, or recommendations made by current volunteers.

Designed to actively engage and interact with volunteers, ensuring they are well introduced to RLAF through a structured and welcoming experience.

Focuses on capacity building of volunteers and preparing them for upcoming volunteering events. This can be training in the forms of befriending or humanitarian work training.

  • Project Briefing
To prepare for a volunteer assignment or project, volunteers will attend a briefing. The briefing will be project-specific or activity-specific to apprise the volunteers on the expectations and requirements of the volunteering assignment which they have accepted.
  • Basic and Specialised Training
As part of RLAF’s mission of building youth capacity, both basic and specialised training may be offered to the volunteers. At least 2 training sessions for volunteers will be planned out in a year. These trainings would be related to the core competencies of volunteers indicated in the VMF and/or related to the causes of the community projects which RLAF embarks on e.g. disability, seniors, children, etc.

Selected volunteers are appointed to join us for monitoring visits to assist in on-ground humanitarian work.

At RLAF, we believe great work deserves recognition. That’s why every year, we celebrate our active volunteers by honouring the individuals whose dedication and hours of contribution truly stand out.

RLAFriends

RLAFriends are volunteers who have formally registered to support RLAF’s volunteer programme operations. They support the management team in areas such as programme planning, logistics coordination, volunteer supervision, and capacity-building initiatives. They are entrusted with higher responsibilities and are involved in project management and initiating volunteer management operations to align with RLAF’s strategic objectives. However, those who registered to be RLAFriends will have to undergo an interview process and will be selected and finalised by the management team to ensure all potential internal discussions between RLAFriends and the management team will remain confidential.
